¡Pleibol! In the Barrios and the Big Leagues

National Museum of American History

Constitution Avenue NW
Between 12th and 14th Streets
Washington, DC

For nearly a century, baseball has been a crucial social and cultural force in Latino communities across the United States. And, for just as long, Latino/a players have had a huge impact on the game. To celebrate this history, the National Museum of American History in collaboration with Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service presents ¡Pleibol! In the Barrios and the Big Leagues/En los barrios y las grandes ligas, a bilingual journey into the heart of American baseball. The exhibit will be on view beginning Oct. 9, 2020. Learn more:
